It cannot be denied that time sometimes flows a bit slowly here in the farm. Everyday, it’s the same routine with the same set of tasks. It’s fun to live in a quiet place, but sometimes it could get a tad boring.

Nevada has taken our Constitution into the fullest extent. Indeed, we are as free as any state could be, with our libertarian ways enacting necessary laws that other states would not even dream of doing for the foreseeable future. In a great many ways, Nevada is ahead of its time; even for American standards. The Pursuit of Happiness is an American dream, and every place in our beloved country is dedicated to this pursuit in one way or another. But while other states see the pursuit literally, with an urge to go ever-forward, the State of North Carolina is dedicated to pursuing it by seeing and appreciating the beautiful things in life. A few take it a few steps further; by capturing the beauty of life in their imaginations, they then transfer it to their preferred craft mediums. Rhode Island has been called the ocean state: And for good reasons. It is, as the name states, Rhode Island. The name itself projects an image of the sea. Because of this, it is a bit ironic that the State is not really an island as the name blatantly is. It is actually a part of the mainland that is close to the sea. “Culture” is a very hard word to put a definition to; but whenever someone asks about culture, we immediately conjure up a visual of what we think it means. Everyone thinks up a different image for the word, as it denotes something different for each individual. Culture is in every, well, culture, but it is a very broad word. New Yorkers see the world through eyes that have seen it all. This makes it difficult to start up a new business venture in this city. The whole state has that “been there, done that” attitude that keeps them from being enthusiastic from unexpected events. If they ever chance on a piece of art that is awesome, they will probably not show that they’re excited about it. The pace of life in the farm can slow down to a crawl. While there is always something to do on the fields, you will inevitably find yourself too bored at one point. There needs to be something that breaks the monotony of the lifestyle of waking up early in the morning, working the fields, and then eating dinner and going to bed. Life down in the farmlands may get a bit dull at times, that’s for sure. Each day of the week, one goes through the same old routines: Wake up early, eat breakfast, work the fields, go in and have some lunch, then back to the fields again, until it’s time to turn in for the night. Because of this, a lot of people have turned to hobbies to make life a lot less monotonous. It has been said that the world today moves at a fast and furious pace. Phrases such as “eat or be eaten” and “survival of the fittest” become the common mantras of a lot of people. Each day is a struggle for survival and dominance. They believe the best way to live life is to be on the fast track. These people, without a doubt, have never been to Tennessee. It may not be the biggest state there is, but Rhode Island is definitely one of the more colorful ones. No Rhode Island resident is more than a 30 minute distance from the sea at all times, so even if it state isn’t technically an island, their connection with the sea is deep set in their culture. There is no denying that the sea is one of the more vibrant aspects of Mother Nature. |
