Better yet, surprise her with another present (in addition to the flowers already delivered to her in the morning) at the beginning of the meal. Of course, you can opt to do it at the end of the meal just as well.

Feeling a pinch when it comes to reaching into your pockets? Consider visiting the park and spend some quiet and quality time together. Choose one that is scenic for Valentine’s day. Perhaps one with a pond of ducks that the both of you can feed? Do not overlook the simple things, which may prove to be just as romantic, if not more.

Then again, she is deserving and so, finances are not the only thing for your consideration. You should know her very well after all and this is certainly Valentine’s day. It is not unreasonable to plan this entire day around her at all.

In fact, if you had planned for this day much earlier, you will have even more choices than if you are doing it at the eleventh hour. Still, if you will use your creativity, all is not lost.
