Most people at one time or another have thought about how they would like to build a business of their own in either the real estate or the online industry, so I’m sure that they have thought of Robert Allen as well.
Robert Allen, a Canadian-American, financial writer, has written multiple books mostly within the areas of real estate and “how-to” books on using various money making techniques to accumulate wealth. His first book, Nothing Down (published in 1980) has been the most successful in terms of number of sales and number of weeks on the non-fiction best seller list.
Nothing Down was based upon the success that he experienced while he was a full-time real estate investor. It was instrumental because it helped the everyday investor to realize that it isn’t necessary to have a lot of money in order to become a very successful real estate investor. Nothing Down has been followed up by Nothing Down for the 90′s and by Nothing Down for the 2000s.
In addition to his numerous books on real estate investing, Allen also has written several books on how to make money utilizing various other techniques as well. For example, his best selling book of 2000, Multiple Streams of Income features the options trading system of Stephen Cooper. He has also co-authored The One Minute Millionaire with Mark Victor Hansen, the author of the very successful Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
He has proven that his wealth building strategies are effective tools that can be used by anyone regardless of where they live or how much money they have. He has proven them in front of live audiences as well as while being watched by reporters and photographers.
For example, he was challenged by the Los Angeles Times to prove that he could successfully by property with only $100. He was given five $20 bills and 72 hours to complete the challenge. While being followed by a reporter, 57 hours later, he had purchased 7 properties and was left with $20 in pocket.
Allen, a frequent guest on television and radio programs, has been featured on programs such as Good Morning America and Larry King Live where he shared his financial insights to skeptical audiences. Additionally, he has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and Newsweek.
Considering that over 250,000 people have attended his various seminars and training events, It is my opinion that he is a genuinely talented guy who has a gift for making money and not some sort of scam artist or con man.
