The book starts with the usual topics of domains, setting up WordPress, and the like; and then moves on to filling that blog with content using the traditional methods, including outsourcing and private label rights.
Next, after the basic setup Mark focuses a lot of content in his e-book on how to make money by blogging through affiliate marketing. This section alone is comprehensive compared to the other Blogging courses I have reviewed. The last two sections of the book covers the common topics of getting traffic to your blog and Web 2.0.
WordPress Goldmine is a book on making money online, and the approach it takes to make money online is by using blogs. So if you are looking to make money online by blogging, then this book is a good match for you. But if you are looking for a book on blogging, if you are looking to become a professional blogger, then you should consider a different system.
What I Dont Like: — Finding objective information about WordPress Goldmine will be difficult for anyone looking for it. Unfortunately, there seem to be (literally) hundreds of results for “honest” reviews that contain either exactly the same text, or substantially similar content, indicative of content that has been copied from an approved sales letter.
WordPress Goldmine Contains: the core 117-page WordPress Goldmine e-book, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for WordPress videos, 17 companion videos, a Members-Only Forum, and WordPress Secure Pro.
Sales Promises Met? — Yes: This is a great book on learning how to make money by using blogs with affiliate marketing programs. It is free of hype.
Ease Of Use: — Good: Like many of the blogging books reviewed, there will still be technical hurdles to overcome to implement the methods covered in the book.
Customer Support: — Excellent: Mark has a members-only forum and offers e-mail support.
Value for Money: — $67: Good — The bonuses are useful and add value to the package, but the price tag is still steeper than I would expect for this information.
Overall Rating: — Good: WordPress Goldmine offers a different approach to making money online with blogs, and the comprehensive reviews on the topic of making money online are fresh and hype-free.
